Actress Anjali Devi is no more

• Telugu Film Industry,once again hit by another veteran actor's demise.
• Anjali Devi, who was born on 24 August 1927, in Peddapuram, East Godavari district.
• Left her last breath today.She was a theatre artist before entering into movies. 
• Anjali Devi film debut was as Lohitasya in Raja Harishchandra in 1936. 
• Anjali Devi 1st movie as a heroine was Kashtajeevi by L. V. Prasad in 1940.

She was a producer too.She acted in more than 350 films, majority of which are in Telugu, Meanwhile she acted in Tamil and Kannada too.She is very famous for the character of Sita, which she played in Lava-Kusha, the first colour movie in Telugu in 1963.

She shared the screen with NTR, ANR and other great actors of TFI. Chenchu Lakshmi, Charana Dasi, Keelu Gurram, Anarkali, Suvarna Sundari are the hit pictures in which she acted in a lead role.
She was suffering ill health from past few days and died today in Vijaya Hospital. She also donated her organs to one of the medical college.May her soul rests in peace.
