Telugu film actor Uday Kiran committed suicide on 6th January 2014, ending his life abruptly. Uday Kiran reportedly hanged himself in his Srinagar flat. His death was confirmed after he was shifted to Apollo hospitals in filmnagar.
Uday Kiran was born on 26 June 1980 to VVK Murthy and Nirmala. He has an elder sister named Sridevi. He finished his graduation in commerce at Wesley College, Secunderabad. He started off with modeling and was Mr.Aptech in the year 1996. Uday Kiran was engaged to Chiranjeevi's daughter Sushmitha in 2003 but the engagement was subsequently broken due to incompatibility issues. He married Vishitha on October 24, 2012. He acted in many Hit films like Chitram, Manasantha Nuvve, Nuvvu Nenu etc.. He has won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for the film Nuvvu Nenu, and became the youngest winner of Filmfare Best Actor Award after Kamal Haasan.
