In the past few years India is producing a very good talent in badminton.After Gopi chand,Gutta Jwala recently Saina Nehwal started to shine in this badminton category. Recently PV.Sindhu became the 1st Indian women to win a singles medal at the world championships.Now yet another youngster came into the limelight .Aditya Joshi ,a junior badminton player from Dhar,Madhya Pradesh became the 1st male junior player from India to be ranked top in the world.
Aditya became the junior national champion in 2013 after winning the title in Chandigarh. He has also
won the singles and doubles crowns in the Sushanth Chipalkatti Memorial Indian junior international badminton championships in September. According to the latest ranks issued by the Badminton world federation Aditya jumped ten places and ranked number one with 18766 points. Aditya is also accompanied by another Indian player named Harsheel Dani,who is ranked at number eight.
Speaking on the success of his son Aditya's father Atul Joshi who is also a Badminton coach at special Area Games (SAG) said " its a new year gift , it came a day late , but yes, its a new year present for me."
